Leave the car park through the gate at the far end, then turn left and follow the path as it runs along the edge of a field. There is a tourist track to the summit from a car park to the north east of Keswick. The checkpoints will be located at Caldbeck Parish Hall, a marquee on land adjacent to Latrigg car park and again at Caldbeck Parish Hall.
